The seven: Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Tesla. Each reached its position on a different thesis: chips, cloud, devices, search, commerce, social, and autonomy.
Nvidia alone accounts for roughly $3.5 trillion. Its data center revenue grew 122 percent year on year in early 2026 on AI chip demand that still outstrips its own production capacity.
Concentration this extreme cuts two ways. Is this a structural platform shift \
