The Oakville Blobs
On 7 August 1994, residents of Oakville, Washington reported that it had rained a gelatinous substance over approximately twenty square miles. The blobs were small, translucent and the consistency of wet gelatin. In the hours that followed, several residents fell ill with flu like symptoms. Pets that came into contact with the substance sickened, and some died. A local technician reported finding human white blood cells in samples. No federal investigation was opened. The blobs fell six more times over the following three weeks.

One theory suggests the blobs were ejected by military aircraft during live fire exercises over the Pacific, carrying biological material from ocean detonations.
No sample was preserved well enough for independent verification. The original lab results cannot be replicated with surviving material.
